Change of color???

Has the Disco team darkened the blue in their team kits? I came accross this picture of Roger Hammond racing in the Vuelta AndalucĂa and it appers that the kits seen on Team Discovery during the training camp in Solvang have possibly changed.

Anybody heard anything?

Looks like an improvement to me. Be thankful you're not on the Davitamon Lotto squad.

For those who missed the team presentation:

One of these circus arsehat outfits may show up on eBay soon. Rodrigo, bid on it. Do it!

I can only imagine what was said when they were asked to put those outfits on :-)

I have not felt this kind of joy in a long time for someone elses's success as I did last Sunday @ lake Mary. Scott and his family where already on their way to their car when the results for the Junior race were anounced. Both Justin and Scott literally dropped their bikes in front of me and rush to the podium. I only hope I can eventually have that kind of smile on my face, like the one Justin had last sunday, at some point in my racing "career". To me it's not about what place you finish, it's about doing something you truley love and enjoy like when you were a kid. Keep them wheels spinning...

I just found out from Chris Brewer (publisher of "The Paceline", Team Discovery's fan-site) that the kit Roger Hammond is wearing in this picture is the same as always. It must have been some wierd lighting.

Weird lighting is right. Along the weird lighting theme there was a whole thread on some weenie parts forum recently about some dark anodized Dura-Ace cranks... that only pros had access to.
